The role requires ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications, with strong emphasis on evidence-based practice, communication, and patient care. The position involves ventilator management and patient/family education within a homecare setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate from Specialty Training Program.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and develop care plans with the healthcare team.

• Assist with intra-hospital transport and emergent airway events.
• Conduct ABG analysis and monitor non-invasive devices.

Job description

Role: Respiratory Therapist (RRT) / Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)

Responsibilities: Perform thorough patient assessments, develop care plans, and communicate with the healthcare team. Administer therapeutic modalities such as aerosolized medications, oxygen therapy, and secretion management. Manage mechanical ventilators, provide patient and family education, assist with intra-hospital transport, and respond to emergent airway situations. Conduct arterial blood gas analysis, monitor non-invasive devices, and support discharge planning. Adhere to safety and regulatory standards, assist with invasive procedures like bronchoscopy, and serve as shift coordinator and preceptor.

Qualifications and Skills: Graduate from Specialty Training Program, certifications in ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS required. Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices, excellent communication, teamwork, and patient care skills. Ability to work independently with autonomy, follow protocols, and maintain confidentiality.
