Qualifications

• ACLS certification within 90 days of employment start date.
• BCLS certification within 30 days of employment start date.
• NBRC-RRT credential (Registered Respiratory Therapist).
• RRT/RCP-State license/credential as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assess respiratory status and determine need for interventions.
• Deliver oxygen, aerosols and airway clearance therapies across care settings.
• Manage ventilation and airways, initiate/adjust invasive and noninvasive ventilation.
• Educate patients and families, partner with physicians/nurses, assist with newborn stabilization when needed.
• Maintain and safe-operate respiratory equipment; ensure readiness and infection control.
