Job summary

Current RCP license and NBRC RRT credential are required; ER PALS is required for ER coworkers. The role involves physical tasks and working with respiratory care devices in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license required.
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
• PALS required for coworkers in the Emergency Room.
• Physical demands including push/pull/grip up to 50 lbs; kneel and crawl as needed.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care per physician orders.
• Consults physicians on effectiveness of therapy.
• Acts as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing on respiratory care.
• Performs duties as assigned.
