Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner to perform direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory therapy, following physician orders. You will consult with physicians on therapy effectiveness and serve as an advanced resource for the care team.

The role requires graduation from a CoARC-approved Respiratory Care program, current RCP licensure, and NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist credential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CoARC approved Respiratory Care program.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care according to physician's orders.
• Consult physicians on effectiveness of therapy.
• Act as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing on respiratory care.
• Perform duties as assigned.
