Job summary

Kalesta Healthcare Group seeks a skilled Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join our care team in Madras, Oregon. You will provide respiratory therapies per physician orders and collaborate with nursing and therapy staff to achieve optimal outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds an Oregon RCP license (CRT/RRT preferred) with experience in tracheostomy care and ventilator management, plus strong communication and resident-focused care. Relocation assistance is offered along with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Current Oregon State license/certification as an RCP.
• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program (CRT or RRT preferred).
• Experience with tracheostomy care and ventilator management strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy treatments per physician orders, including nebulizer treatments, suctioning, oxygen administration.
• Assess and monitor residents’ respiratory status, promptly reporting changes to the nursing and medical team
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatments, interventions, and resident response
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create individualized care plans for residents with respiratory needs
• Educate residents, families, and staff on respiratory care techniques and equipment
• Ensure proper cleaning, maintenance, and functionality of respiratory therapy equipment
