Job summary

Kalesta Healthcare is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our care team in Madras, Oregon. The RT will provide respiratory treatments, monitor status, and collaborate with nursing and therapy staff to optimize resident outcomes.

Qualifications include an Oregon RCP license (CRT/RRT preferred) and experience with tracheostomy care and ventilator management. Relocation assistance is provided; full-time position with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Current Oregon State license/certification as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP)
• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program (CRT or RRT preferred)
• Experience with tracheostomy care and ventilator management strongly preferred
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy treatments per physician orders, including nebulizer treatments, suctioning, oxygen administration, etc.
• Assess and monitor residents’ respiratory status, promptly reporting changes to the nursing and medical team
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatments, interventions, and resident response
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create individualized care plans for residents with respiratory needs
• Educate residents, families, and staff on respiratory care techniques and equipment
• Ensure proper cleaning, maintenance, and functionality of respiratory therapy equipment

Position Summary
