Job summary

Kalesta Healthcare seeks a skilled Respiratory Therapist in Madras, Oregon. This full-time RT role supports residents with respiratory needs, collaborates with nursing and therapy staff, and follows physician orders for treatments such as nebulizers and oxygen therapy.

Applicants must hold an Oregon RCP license, have RT program graduation (CRT or RRT preferred), and demonstrate excellent communication and compassionate, resident-centered care. Relocation assistance is provided.

Qualifications

• Oregon license/certification as an RCP required.
• Graduate of an accredited RT program (CRT or RRT preferred).
• Experience with tracheostomy care and ventilator management preferred.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Compassionate, dependable, resident-focused.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy treatments per physician orders (nebulizers, suctioning, oxygen).
• Assess and monitor residents' respiratory status and report changes.
• Document treatments and resident responses accurately.
• Collaborate with care team to develop individualized respiratory plans.
• Educate residents, families, and staff on respiratory care techniques.
• Ensure proper cleaning and maintenance of RT equipment.
