Kalesta Healthcare is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join our care team in Madras, Oregon. You will provide respiratory therapy treatments, monitor patients, and work closely with nursing and therapy staff to achieve optimal outcomes.

This full-time position offers relocation assistance and competitive pay. Responsibilities include patient assessment, documentation, care plan collaboration, education for residents and families, and ensuring equipment is clean and functional.

Qualifications

• Current Oregon State license/certification as an RCP.
• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program (CRT or RRT preferred).
• Experience with tracheostomy care and ventilator management preferred.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy treatments per physician orders, including nebulizer treatments, suctioning, oxygen administration.
• Assess and monitor residents’ respiratory status, reporting changes promptly.
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, interventions, and resident response.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create individualized care plans for residents with respiratory needs.
• Educate residents, families, and staff on respiratory care techniques and equipment.
• Ensure proper cleaning, maintenance, and functionality of respiratory therapy equipment.
