Kalesta Healthcare is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join our care team in Madras, Oregon. The RT will provide therapy treatments per physician orders, monitor residents’ respiratory status, and collaborate with nursing and therapy staff to achieve optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program (CRT or RRT preferred).
• Oregon license/certification as an RCP required.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy treatments per physician orders, including nebulizer treatments, suctioning, oxygen administration, etc.
• Assess and monitor residents’ respiratory status, promptly reporting changes to the nursing and medical team
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatments, interventions, and resident response
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create individualized care plans for residents with respiratory needs
• Educate residents, families, and staff on respiratory care techniques and equipment
• Ensure proper cleaning, maintenance, and functionality of respiratory therapy equipment
