Job summary

Regency Hospital - Florence is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RT) for the Florence, SC location. This full-time night shift (7 p.m.–7:30 a.m.) features a compensation range of $31.08–$41.00 per hour and a $15,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required by start date (classes may be completed prior to start).
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire. (PRN staff must have ACLS upon hire).
• Current state licensure is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and recommend an appropriate treatment plan.
• Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical conditions.
• Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Promote continuous quality improvement.
• Teach and counsel patients and families.

• Performing insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

• Must possess "Active" CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.
• Proof of graduation required: college transcript/diploma (preferred) or high school transcript/diploma or GED.
• Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
• Current state licensure is required.
• ACLS is required within 6 months of hire. (Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift, PRN staff must have ACLS upon hire).

Preferred qualifications:

• One (1) year of related experience is preferred.
