Job summary

Regency Hospital - Florence in Florence, SC seeks a Respiratory Therapist for a PRN/Per Diem role (7 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.). The RT will evaluate patients, provide respiratory care, insert and remove endotracheal tubes, and contribute to quality improvement.

Requirements include NBRC CRT or RRT credential, BLS, current state licensure, and ACLS on hire. Prior experience is preferred. This per diem position offers $39.00 per hour with 401k eligibility after reaching 1,000 hours in the first year.

Qualifications

• Active NBRC CRT or RRT credential (or state equivalent).
• Proof of graduation: college transcript/diploma (preferred) or high school transcript/diploma or GED.
• BLS certification by start date.
• Current state licensure required.
• ACLS required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating patients and recommending an appropriate treatment plan.
• Providing respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions.
• Performing insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Promoting continuous quality improvement.
• Teaching and counseling patients/families.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Location: Florence, SC

Schedule: PRN/Per Diem/As Needed - 7 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.

Compensation: $39.00 per hour

Minimum requirements:

• Must possess "Active" CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.

• Proof of graduation required: college transcript/diploma (preferred) or high school transcript/diploma or GED.

• Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.

• Current state licensure is required.

• ACLS is required upon hire. (Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift)

Preferred qualifications:

• One (1) year of related experience is preferred.
