Job summary

Regency Hospital - Upstate in Anderson, SC is seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join our critical care team. This full-time night position (7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.) offers a competitive hourly rate and a $7,500 sign-on bonus.

You will evaluate patients, provide respiratory care for complex cases, and participate in quality improvement. Candidates must hold NBRC CRT or RRT, BLS, state licensure, and ACLS within 6 months; 1 year of related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold NBRC CRT or RRT credential.
• Proof of graduation: transcript/diploma or GED.
• BLS certification required by start date.
• Current state licensure required.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating patients and recommending an appropriate treatment plan.
• Providing respiratory care to patients with critical and complex conditions.
• Performing insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Promoting continuous quality improvement.
• Teaching and counseling patients/families.

Schedule: Full Time Nights - 7 p.m. - 7:30 a.m.

Compensation: $31.82 to $42.00 per hour

Sign-On Bonus: $7,500

• Performing insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.

• Promoting continuous quality improvement.

• Teaching and counseling patients/families.

Minimum requirements:

• Must possess "Active" CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.

• Proof of graduation required: college transcript/diploma (preferred) or high school transcript/diploma or GED.

• Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.

• Current state licensure is required.

• ACLS is required within 6 months of hire. (Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift, PRN staff must have ACLS upon hire).

Preferred qualifications:

• One (1) year of related experience is preferred.
