Job summary

Regency Hospital - Florence in Florence, SC seeks a Respiratory Therapist (RT) for a per diem night shift (7 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.). Compensation is $39.00 per hour. The hospital provides an extensive orientation and potential advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must possess an Active NBRC CRT or RRT credential.
• Proof of graduation: college transcript/diploma or high school transcript/diploma or GED.
• BLS certification by start date.
• Current state licensure is required.
• ACLS is required upon hire (Agency RT must have ACLS on first shift).
• One year of related experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and recommend an appropriate treatment plan.
• Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical conditions.
• Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Promote continuous quality improvement.
• Teach and counsel patients and families.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position: Respiratory Therapist (RT) - Per Diem/ PRN

Location: Florence, SC

Schedule: PRN/Per Diem/As Needed - 7 p.m. - 7:30 a.m.

Compensation: $39.00 per hour

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

• Must possess "Active" CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.
• Proof of graduation required: college transcript/diploma (preferred) or high school transcript/diploma or GED.
• Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
• Current state licensure is required.
• ACLS is required upon hire. (Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift)

Preferred qualifications:

• One (1) year of related experience is preferred.
