Job summary

Regency Hospital - Florence seeks a Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join our full-time day shift team in Florence, SC. You will evaluate patients, plan and deliver respiratory care for critically and surgically complex cases, and assist with airway management including endotracheal tube procedures.

We offer a competitive compensation range of $31.08–$41.00 per hour, a $15,000 sign-on bonus, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active NBRC credential (CRT or RRT) or state equivalent.
• Current BLS certification required at start date.
• State licensure to practice respiratory therapy.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and plan appropriate respiratory care.
• Provide respiratory care for critical and complex conditions.
• Assist with airway management and endotracheal procedures.
• Promote quality improvement and patient education.

Schedule: Full Time Days - 7 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.

Compensation: $31.08 to $41.00 per hour

Sign-on bonus: $15,000

• Evaluating patients and recommending an appropriate treatment plan.

• Providing respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions.

• Performing insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.

• Promoting continuous quality improvement.

• Teaching and counseling patients/families.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

• Must possess "Active" CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.

• Proof of graduation required: college transcript/diploma (preferred) or high school transcript/diploma or GED.

• Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.

• Current state licensure is required.

• ACLS is required within 6 months of hire. (Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift, PRN staff must have ACLS upon hire).

Preferred qualifications:

• One (1) year of related experience is preferred.
