Job Summary and Qualifications

The staff respiratory therapist must demonstrate proficiency in all respiratory care modalities, with additional competency in NICU and pediatric care. Responsibilities include executing assignments in compliance with hospital and respiratory policies, with potential supervision of respiratory students.

Qualifications
  • Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Care program recognized by the NBRC.
  • Minimum one year of experience in respiratory care, with documented training in NICU and/or pediatrics.
  • Credentials: RRT/RCP, CRTT, or LCRT; State Registered or Certified Respiratory Therapist or Technician.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), and NRP certifications required; ACLS preferred.
