Qualifications

• One year experience in Respiratory Care with training in NICU and/or Pediatrics.
• RRT/Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT / RCP) certification required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The staff respiratory therapist demonstrates proficiency in all modalities of Respiratory Care, with additional competency in NICU and Pediatric patient care. Responsibilities include executing assignments in compliance with hospital and respiratory policies. May work with respiratory students in clinical care.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Care program recognized by the NBRC.
• One year experience in Respiratory Care with documented training in NICU and/or Pediatrics.
• RRT/Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT / RCP), or CRTT, or LCRT certification.
• State Registered or Certified Respiratory Therapist or Technician.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
• PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support or Instructor certification.
• NRP certification.
• ACLS preferred (facility-based requirements).
