Job summary

PACS is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner to perform pulmonary therapy, rehabilitation, and diagnostic evaluation, while delivering direct patient care and maintaining documentation. You will follow policy, communicate with care teams, and ensure safety and confidentiality in a demanding post-acute setting.

The ideal candidate holds an associate degree and has graduated from a respiratory care program; a BS in healthcare is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in respiratory care or related field required.
• Graduate of an accredited respiratory care program required.
• BS in healthcare is preferred; 1 year of acute/subacute respiratory experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret clinical data and documents.

Responsibilities

• Follow supervisor instructions and facility policies and procedures.
• Assess and address patient respiratory needs and changes in status.
• Collect, analyze, and document data and diagnoses.
• Plan and implement care aligned with the plan and hospital policies.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards; report changes as needed.
