Job summary

PACS is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner to provide respiratory therapy, management, rehabilitation, and diagnostic evaluation for patients in a post-acute setting. The role emphasizes careful assessment, data interpretation, and coordination with the care team to achieve patient outcomes.

The position requires an Associate Degree in Respiratory Care, licensure where applicable, CPR/BLS and ACLS certifications, and a minimum of one year of respiratory experience in acute or subacute

Qualifications

• Must possess at least an Associate Degree from an accredited school.
• Graduate of a respiratory care program; BS in health care preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year respiratory experience in acute or subacute settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and follow schedule and policies set by supervision.
• Perform focused interview to identify patient needs and assess respiratory status.
• Collect, analyze, and document data to support diagnoses and care planning.
• Plan and execute plan of care with appropriate interventions.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and facility policies and procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident care information and protect PHI.
