Job summary

Regency Hospital - Florence is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RT) for a full-time weekend day schedule in Florence, SC. The role includes evaluating patients, delivering respiratory care, and participating in quality initiatives with a sign-on bonus of $15,000.

Eligible candidates will hold an NBRC CRT or RRT, BLS, and current state licensure; ACLS within 6 months is required. Tuition reimbursement and career development opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Active NBRC CRT or RRT credential (state NBRC equivalence accepted).
• Proof of graduation: college transcript/diploma preferred or HS transcript/diploma or GED.
• BLS certification required by start date.
• Current state licensure required.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire for all shifts.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating patients and recommending an appropriate treatment plan.
• Providing respiratory care to patients with critical and complex conditions.
• Performing insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Promoting continuous quality improvement.
• Teaching and counseling patients and families.

Location: Florence, SC

Schedule: Full Time Weekend Days - Friday, Saturday, Sunday - 7 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.Compensation: $30.47 to $41.00 per hour + highly competitive shift differential

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

• Must possess "Active" CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.
• Proof of graduation required: college transcript/diploma (preferred) or high school transcript/diploma or GED.
• Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
• Current state licensure is required.
• ACLS is required within 6 months of hire. (Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift, PRN staff must have ACLS upon hire).

Preferred qualifications:

• One (1) year of related experience is preferred.
