Job summary

St. Luke's in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our night shift team on a 0.9 FTE schedule with a large weekend differential. You will provide ventilator support, assess patients, and collaborate with physicians to ensure high-quality care.

Responsibilities include delivering prescribed therapies, educating patients, and maintaining equipment safety. Requires RCP license, NBRC credentials or CRT, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited respiratory care program with at least an associate degree.
• Active RCP license and NBRC credentials or CRT if prior to 2023.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.

Responsibilities

• Uses respiratory therapy processes to assess patients using pulmonary diagnostics, labs, and related data.
• Operates respiratory equipment and assists physicians with bedside procedures.
• Delivers prescribed therapies and medications per orders.
• Maintains and troubleshoots equipment; ensures safety and functionality.
