Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited respiratory care program with an associate degree.
• Licensure as Respiratory Care Practitioner in the practice state.
• Experience with patient assessment, ventilation and protocol-based therapy is implied by duties.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients using pulmonary diagnostics and related data to guide therapy.
• Operate ventilators in critical and non-critical care settings and assist physicians.
• Administer prescribed respiratory therapies and educate patients on disease management.
• Maintain equipment, troubleshoot, and ensure safety in patient care areas.
• Provide handoffs, collaborate with teams, and support safety initiatives.
