Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited respiratory care program with an associate degree.
• Licensure as Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) and NBRC credentials.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.

Responsibilities

• Support patient assessment using pulmonary diagnostics and blood gas interpretation.
• Operate ventilators in critical and non-critical care venues and assist physicians.
• Provide prescribed respiratory therapies and monitor patient response.
• Educate patients on therapy purpose and self-care; participate in safety initiatives.
• Demonstrate effective communication and handoffs to teammates and physicians.
