Job summary

BridgePoint Continuing Care Hospital – Capitol Hill in Washington, DC is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RT) for 13-week and 6-month contracts. Shifts are Nights 7p-730a with a base pay range of $59.00-$65.00 per hour, including premium pay.

The role requires 1 year of respiratory care experience preferred, BLS & ACLS, and NBRC credentials. Weekend work is required. You will administer respiratory care, monitor ventilation, and support patient recovery in a team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved School of Respiratory Care.
• Current credentials as a Respiratory Therapist by NBRC.
• Current state licensure. BLS & ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Administer safe respiratory care as ordered by a physician.
• Monitor mechanical ventilation and administer medications.
• Perform patient assessments and participate in teaching and training.
