Job summary

Atrium Health, Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC, is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for adult and pediatric departments. This full-time night shift role includes a $20,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.

You will provide respiratory therapies, initiate and manage mechanical ventilation, and ensure patient safety with age-appropriate care. Licensure as an RCP in NC, NBRC RRT, BLS, and within 90 days PALS/NRP (and ACLS for adults) are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved two or four-year program for respiratory care or NBRC requirements.
• RRT registered by NBRC and NC licensure as Respiratory Care Practitioner.

Responsibilities

• Provides respiratory therapies following age-specific standards and policies.
• Initiates and maintains mechanical ventilation and airway support.
• Performs point-of-care testing and ensures continuity of care with relief personnel.
• Provides invasive and non-invasive monitoring to ensure patient safety.
• Maintains knowledge and quality improvement to enhance service.
