Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved two or four-year program for respiratory care or satisfies NBRC requirements.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by NBRC and licensed in NC.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• PALS/NRP within 90 days; ACLS within 90 days for adults.

Responsibilities

• Provides respiratory therapies per hospital policies across the facility.
• Initiates and maintains mechanical ventilation and airway support.
• Ensures patient safety and adherence to age-specific care guidelines.
