Job summary

Accendra Health is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide in-home oxygen and ventilation support across Mountville and York. You will educate patients and caregivers on proper device use, troubleshooting, and maintenance while documenting care delivered and coordinating with physicians and case managers.

The ideal candidate holds PA RT licensure, CPR certification, and has completed an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.

Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist with PA RT license and CPR certification.
• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Ability to operate respiratory equipment and document care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct home visits to set up oxygen, CPAP/BiPAP, and ventilation equipment and follow-ups.
• Educate patients and caregivers on equipment use, cleaning, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Assess patient needs, document care delivered, and escalate concerns appropriately.
• Respond to hospital discharge requests and support patient needs.
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and branch teams.
• Set up and operate respiratory care equipment and perform clinical assessments.
