Accendra Health in Monroeville, PA seeks a Respiratory Therapist for a hybrid role with 50% office and 50% road tasks. You will perform home visits, set up oxygen and ventilation equipment, educate caregivers, and coordinate with physicians and case managers.

A PA RT license is required and OH/VA licenses are a plus. Flexibility to travel within SW PA, documentation on iPad/laptop, and on-call duties are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist with PA license to practice respiratory care.
• Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program.
• Ability to educate patients and caregivers on equipment usage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct home visits for oxygen, CPAP/BiPAP, and ventilation equipment setups.
• Educate patients and caregivers on equipment use, cleaning and troubleshooting.
• Assess patient needs, document care, and escalate concerns as needed.
• Respond to discharge requests and support patient needs with physicians and case managers.
• Set up and operate respiratory care equipment including oxygen, nebulization, PAP, ventilation.
• Perform clinical tests such as pulse oximetry, ETCO2, and spirometry.
