Compensation offered may vary based on job-related factors including experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.**On-Call transparency*** Alternates weekly; supports northern New Jersey region.**What you’ll do*** Conduct home visits to perform oxygen, CPAP/BiPAP, and ventilation equipment setups and follow‐ups* Educate patients and caregivers on equipment use, cleaning, troubleshooting, and maintenance* Assess patient needs, document care delivered, and escalate concerns appropriately* Respond to hospital discharge requests and support patient needs* Collaborating with physicians, case managers, and internal branch teams* Maintain accurate documentation using iPad/laptop* Set up and operate various types of respiratory care equipment, including, but not limited to, oxygen therapy, nebulization therapy, apnea monitoring, suctioning, PAP, invasive and non-invasive ventilation* Inspects and tests equipment to ensure proper operating condition* Perform clinical assessments and tests such as pulse oximetry, ETCO2, spirometry and gathering vital signs* Performs other duties as required**What we look for*** Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist with an active NJ RT license* Ability to stand, lift, push and/or pull objects ranging from 10 – 50 lbs.* Valid driver's license* Comfortable using mobile technology, navigation tools, and digital documentation**Education*** Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program**Certificates, licenses, registrations or professional designations*** Hold a current RCP license in the state of practice (or states that the location covers) if that state requires an RCP license to allow the practice of respiratory therapy* Hold a current CPR Certification* Hold all applicable licensure in good standing for all states of practiceIf you feel this opportunity could be the next step in your career, we encourage you to apply.#AccendraHealth**Teammate Benefits**As an Accendra Health employee, you have choices to fit your life.
