Accolade Healthcare is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) to deliver respiratory care, assessments, and interventions for residents. You will work with an interdisciplinary team, monitor and adjust therapies, and provide patient and caregiver education to optimize respiratory function.

The role emphasizes independent practice within a Long Term Care/Home Health setting, with focus on reducing avoidable hospital readmissions and ensuring high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Active CRT or RRT credentials required.
• Current license in good standing with Illinois Department.
• CPR certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Experience in Long Term Care or Home Health is a plus.
• Not a remote position.

Responsabilités

• Provide quality patient evaluation and respiratory assessments.
• Administer and monitor respiratory therapies per plan of care.
• Manage and wean oxygen therapy and trachs as appropriate.
• Educate residents and caregivers on respiratory care and equipment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to reduce readmissions.
