Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency seeks a Respiratory Therapist II to provide advanced respiratory care and patient assessment in complex clinical settings. You will manage ventilators, perform airway procedures, interpret arterial blood gases, and educate patients and families.

You will collaborate with healthcare teams to uphold safety and quality standards, document accurately, support performance improvement, and mentor new staff and students in a dynamic homecare/clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP and NBRC-RRT or RCP certifications required.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, teamwork and computer skills expected.

Job description

Role: The Respiratory Therapist II provides advanced respiratory care, medication administration, and patient assessment in complex critical care settings.

Responsibilities: Deliver patient-centered care, manage ventilators, perform airway procedures, interpret arterial blood gases, and educate patients, families, and staff. Collaborate with healthcare teams, ensure safety and quality standards, document accurately, and support performance improvement initiatives. Participate in invasive and non-invasive procedures and mentor new staff and students.

Qualifications & Skills: Requires a minimum of 0-2 years clinical experience with at least 6 months in critical care. Must hold relevant certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and NBRC-RRT or RCP. Demonstrates strong communication, critical thinking, teamwork, and computer skills. Education requirements include a Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy.
