Job summary

AdventHealth in Ocala, Florida seeks a registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our night shift team. You will provide patient assessments, ventilator management, and education to patients and families in a busy acute care setting.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science.
• NBRC credential required for eligibility.
• 1+ years of clinical experience in acute care setting.
• State Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) and BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapies and oxygen delivery per protocol.
• Assist with bronchoscopy procedures and equipment setup.
• Document procedures and charges accurately for quality standards.
• Provide patient education on therapy modalities and benefits.
• Respond to Code Blue emergencies and CPR as needed.
• Monitor ventilator settings and adapt to patient needs as directed.
