Job summary

Accendra Health seeks a Respiratory Therapist to provide essential respiratory care, equipment setup, and patient education with a blend of branch and field duties. You will support safe hospital-to-home transitions and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires NBRC/RT licensure, CPR certification, and an active state license where applicable. Join a team focused on high-quality care and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist with an active RT license
• NBRC registration or certification
• Current CPR certification
• Current state RCP license where required
• Hold licensure in good standing for all states of practice

Responsibilities

• Perform home visits to set up oxygen, CPAP/BiPAP, and ventilation equipment.
• Educate patients and caregivers on equipment use, cleaning, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Assess patient needs, document care delivered, and escalate concerns as needed.
• Respond to hospital discharge requests and support patient needs.
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and internal branch teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation using iPad/laptop and electronic systems.
