Job summary

Accendra Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to support home-based patient care. You will educate patients and caregivers on equipment use and respiratory therapies, perform clinical assessments, and document care plans and follow-ups.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and compassionate patient interaction. Qualified candidates will have graduation from an accredited respiratory therapy program, NBRC credentials, and a valid RCP license with CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program for respiratory therapy is required.
• NBRC registration/certification and NBRC credentials preferred.
• Hold a current RCP license in practicing states and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Instruct patients and caregivers on equipment use and respiratory care procedures.
• Conduct clinical assessments/tests (pulse oximetry, ETCO2, spirometry, vitals).
• Maintain patient records, plan of care, and follow-up documentation.
