Job summary

Accendra Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to assist in the treatment and management of patients with clinical needs. You will provide instruction on equipment use and perform respiratory care procedures in home settings.

Responsibilities include conducting clinical assessments, follow-up contacts, and operating respiratory care equipment. Requires NBRC certification, an active RCP license, CPR, and licensure in good standing for applicable states.

Qualifications

• Must graduate from an accredited respiratory therapy program.
• NBRC certification required.
• Hold a current RCP license in the state(s) of practice.
• Current CPR certification.
• Hold licensure in good standing for all states of practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction to patients/caregivers on use of respiratory equipment and care procedures.
• Perform clinical assessments and tests (pulse oximetry, ETCO2, spirometry, vital signs).
• Conduct routine patient follow-up contacts based on needs.
• May participate in on-call duties as needed.
• Operate respiratory equipment including oxygen therapy, nebulization, PAP, ventilation as appropriate.
• Prepare and maintain patient records with care plans, prescriptions, and follow-up documentation.
