Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Respiratory Care preferred.
• Active licensure or eligibility to practice respiratory care in Texas.
• Current certifications: BCLS; ACLS, NRP, and PALS within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess respiratory status and determine need for interventions.
• Deliver evidence-based therapy including oxygen, aerosols, and airway clearance techniques.
• Manage ventilation and airway procedures, including invasive/noninvasive support.
• Educate patients and families, collaborate with care teams, support newborns when needed.
• Maintain and safeguard respiratory equipment, ensure infection control.
