Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to guide patients through routine and critical care, providing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures with invasive and noninvasive ventilation across care settings.

You will work with advanced respiratory technology, mentorship from RT leaders, and a collaborative team to support professional growth and consistent scheduling for stable, ongoing patient care.

Qualifications

• ACLS within 6 months of employment start date
• BLS certification
• Neonate Resuscitation (NRP) within 6 months of start date
• PALS within 6 months of start date
• NBRC-RRT certification
• RRT/RCP-State certification

Responsibilities

• Assess respiratory status and determine need for interventions.
• Deliver oxygen, aerosolized meds, airway clearance and other therapies.
• Manage ventilation and airway support, including invasive/noninvasive ventilation.
• Educate patients and families, serve as clinical resource, collaborate with physicians and nurses.
• Maintain equipment and ensure infection prevention standards.
