Job summary

The Respiratory Therapist role at MediLodge of Livingston offers an opportunity to join a team that values resident-centered care in a long-term care setting. You will provide routine respiratory services, assess patients, operate ventilators, and ensure accurate documentation under management.

We welcome both newly licensed RTs and experienced professionals. Competitive wages ($38.20–$47.20/hour) based on experience, with flexible pay options and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• CRT or RRT license and AMA-approved school completion.
• One year of respiratory therapy experience preferred in long-term care setting.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills with residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory services within the Respiratory Care Practitioner scope.
• Document all respiratory care activities and patient information.
• Ensure proper storage and labeling of respiratory equipment and supplies.
• Manage routine communications (mail, calls, pages) as needed.
• Assess patients' respiratory needs and monitor oxygen saturation/ventilation.
• Perform treatments and ventilator checks in a timely manner.
• Complete TARs monthly with accurate information.
• Assist in decannulation and weaning assessments.
• Participate in special projects and resolve routine issues.
