Lionstone Care seeks a qualified Respiratory Therapist to assess, treat, and care for patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders in Bellefontaine, OH. The role involves therapeutic respiratory care, oxygen administration, ventilator management, and diagnostic testing to evaluate lung function.

The position requires an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy, current licensure (CRT or RRT), and strong collaboration with physicians and nurses.

Qualifications

• Requirement: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program.
• Licensure: Current Respiratory Therapist license; CRT or RRT certification required.
• Experience: Healthcare or acute care setting preferred; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' respiratory conditions and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Administer oxygen therapy and aerosolized medications; manage ventilation.
• Monitor and document patient progress in the EHR; maintain equipment.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care and home management.
• Respond to respiratory emergencies and assist in CPR and airway management.
• Perform PFTs and ABG analysis; report results for treatment planning.
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to coordinate care.
