Job summary

Bethany Center For Rehabilitation and Healing in Oak Hill, TN is seeking a full-time Respiratory Therapist to join our skilled nursing team. The RT must hold an active state license (RRT or CRT) and be capable of independent assessment, therapy initiation, and documentation.

The position offers a standing schedule of 4–6 hours per shift, with potential up to 8 hours, and requires weekend work (Saturday and Sunday).

Qualifications

• Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program. Licensed as RRT or CRT.
• Licensed in the state in which practicing BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Completes assessments and implements respiratory techniques to maintain and progress the rehab patients with many different Respiratory illness/diseases and non respiratory illness.
• Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate, check, and assemble equipment
• Complete a variety of bedside treatments
• Complete in-services for nursing staff every quarter
• Responsible for completing daily, weekly and monthly documentation
• Attend applicable IDT meetings
• Experience with tracheotomy
• Experience is a long term care setting
• Follow procedure and protocol of facility
