Job summary

Bethany Center For Rehabilitation and Healing in Tennessee seeks a full-time Respiratory Therapist to join a skilled nursing team. The RT should evaluate and treat independently, with a passion for geriatric care and a valid state license.

The role covers a flexible 4–6 hour shifts, with potential up to 8 hours, on Saturdays and Sundays. Responsibilities include conducting respiratory assessments, starting therapies, maintaining records, and providing bedside treatments.

Qualifications

• Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program.
• Licensed as RRT or CRT.
• Licensed in the state in which practicing; BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Completes assessments and implements respiratory techniques to progress rehab patients.
• Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate and assemble equipment.
• Provide bedside treatments and in-services for nursing staff quarterly.
• Document daily, weekly and monthly; attend IDT meetings.
• Experience with tracheotomy and long-term care settings.
