Job summary

Nashville Center For Rehabilitation and Healing in Tennessee is seeking a full-time Respiratory Therapist to join our skilled nursing team, delivering bedside RT care to geriatric residents.

The role requires state licensure as RRT or CRT, COARC-accredited education, and the ability to work with independence, including weekend shifts on Saturdays and Sundays. You will perform assessments, initiate therapies, document thoroughly, and participate in IDT meetings.

Qualifications

• Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program. Licensed as RRT or CRT.
• Licensed in the state in which practicing BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Completes assessments and implements respiratory techniques to progress rehab patients with various respiratory and non-respiratory conditions.
• Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate, check, and assemble equipment.
• Complete bedside treatments and attend in-services for nursing staff quarterly.
• Document daily, weekly and monthly activities and participate in IDT meetings.
• Experience with tracheotomy and in a long-term care setting; follow facility procedures.
• Performs related duties; manages caseload and conducts tracking/auditing as described.
