Job summary

Powerback is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide respiratory care across settings, following physician orders and established care plans. You will assess, treat, and monitor residents, including ventilator management, in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include ensuring patient safety, documenting outcomes, and participating in ongoing education and quality improvement efforts. A valid state license, NBRC credential, and BCLS are required.

Qualifications

• Completed NBRC accredited respiratory therapy program.
• At least one year of supervised clinical practice.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
• Active state licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory care per physician orders and care plan.
• Manage airway care and ventilator support per protocol.
• Monitor resident response and document progress accurately.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and families for safe care.
• Perform CPR and emergency procedures as needed.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and records.
