Job summary

CARIN Alliance in Lafayette (LA) is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide respiratory care, oxygen therapy, diagnostic testing, and ventilation support for patients of all ages.

The role includes monitoring and weaning oxygen and artificial ventilation, analyzing arterial blood gases and EKGs, and educating patients and healthcare teams on procedures and treatment plans while ensuring policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience.
• Current state license and certification as a respiratory therapist from the National Board of Respiratory Care.
• American Heart Association BLS certification; ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications within specified timeframes.

Role Overview
