Health Marketing is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to provide vital respiratory care across neonatal to geriatric patients in a clinical setting. You will manage oxygen delivery, ventilation support, ABG analysis, and EKG reporting, delivering both routine and advanced therapies.
Strong assessment skills, compassion, and adaptability are essential as you educate patients and staff, document care details, and adjust treatments to each patient’s age and needs.
The Respiratory Therapist provides essential respiratory care, oxygen services, diagnostic testing, and ventilation support to patients of all ages, from neonatal to geriatric.
Set up, monitor, and wean oxygen therapy and artificial ventilation; perform arterial blood gas analysis and EKG reporting; deliver intermittent therapies; assist with artificial airway management; document clinical information; educate patients and staff; perform routine and advanced therapeutic procedures; adapt care to patient age and needs.
Requires an associate’s degree in respiratory or pulmonary therapy; valid license as a Respiratory Therapist; certification as a Registered or Certified Respiratory Therapist by the National Board of Respiratory Care.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and patient mobility; work in a healthcare environment with exposure risks; maintain knowledge of legal and regulatory standards; demonstrate flexibility for on-call and varied shifts.
