Geisinger is excited to offer a full-time Respiratory Therapist Float position with a competitive hiring rate and added premiums based on experience. The role includes float assignments across Geisinger Medical Center Danville, Geisinger Bloomsburg Hospital, and Geisinger Shamokin Area Community Hospital, with day and night shifts available.

Relocation assistance of up to $7,500 is offered to eligible applicants.

Formación

• Minimum of 2 years of related work experience.
• Graduate from Specialty Training Program.

Responsabilidades

• Perform and document thorough patient assessments.
• Establish care plans and communicate with the patient care team.
• Operate and monitor aerosolized therapies, secretions management, oxygen therapy, and airway maintenance.
• Initiate and manage conventional/high-frequency ventilators per protocol.
• Provide age-appropriate patient and family education on disease management.
• Assist in intra-hospital transport of ventilated patients and manage acute airway events.
