Geisinger Shamokin Area Community Hospital is seeking a full-time Respiratory Therapist Float. The role supports day and night shifts across Geisinger facilities with a minimum hourly hiring rate and premium pay for float and shift differentials.

Up to $7,500 relocation assistance is available for eligible applicants. The CRT/RRT team will float among Geisinger Medical Center Danville, Geisinger Bloomsburg Hospital and Geisinger Shamokin Area Community Hospital, with duties including patient

Qualifications

• Acute respiratory care practice within a hospital setting.
• Ventilator management and airway support.
• Comprehensive patient assessments and care planning.

Responsibilities

• Performs and documents thorough patient assessments.
• Establishes care plans and communicates with the care team.
• Operates and manages conventional and HF ventilators per protocol.
• Provides patient and family education on disease management.
• Assists with intra-hospital transport of ventilated patients.
• Supports discharge planning for respiratory-related needs.
