Geisinger is seeking a full-time Respiratory Therapist Float with duties spanning patient assessments, care planning, and collaboration with the care team. The role includes managing aerosolized treatments, oxygen therapy, and ventilator support, with a focus on education for patients and families.

The position requires 2+ years of related experience and completion of a Respiratory Therapy specialty program; NBRC licensure and state license are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related work experience.
• Graduate from Specialty Training Program in Respiratory Therapy.
• NBRC-registered and state-licensed Respiratory Therapist preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document findings.
• Establish care plans and coordinate with the patient care team.
• Manage therapeutic modalities including aerosolized meds, oxygen therapy, and airway care.
• Initiate and manage mechanical ventilators per protocol.
• Educate patients and families on disease management and home care needs.
