Job summary

Mercy Hospital St. Louis is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) to perform direct patient care per physician orders and consult on therapy effectiveness.

This role acts as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing on respiratory care and handles duties as assigned. We offer flexible day/night shifts with no weekend or holiday requirements for this gig.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CoARC approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license in state.
• NBRC credential: RRT or CRT; PALS/ACLS per ER requirements.
• At least one year of experience in respiratory care.
• Physical ability to handle push/pull up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care per physician orders.
• Consult with physicians on therapy effectiveness.
• Serve as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff.
