Job summary

Select Medical in Anderson, SC is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RT) for a full-time day shift (7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.). Compensation ranges from $31.82 to $42.00 per hour with a $7,500 sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities include evaluating patients, delivering respiratory care, and managing airway procedures while supporting quality improvement and patient education. Eligible for tuition reimbursement, clinical ladder, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• NBRC credential required.
• BLS certification required by start date.
• Current state licensure required.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and recommend an appropriate treatment plan.

• Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Promote continuous quality improvement.
• Teach and counsel patients and families.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

• Must possess "Active" CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.
• Proof of graduation required: college transcript/diploma (preferred) or high school transcript/diploma or GED.
• Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
• Current state licensure is required.
• ACLS is required within 6 months of hire. (Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift, PRN staff must have ACLS upon hire).

Preferred qualifications:

• One (1) year of related experience is preferred.
