Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates of Science Degree with a certificate in Respiratory Care required.
• 3-6 months of on-the-job experience to gain knowledge of hospital policies and procedures.
• CRT with NBRC required; RCP license for work state required.
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS within 6 months of hire.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess respiratory patients and ensure delivery of prescribed care.
• Document procedures and patient assessments in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians and care team to update care plans.
• Maintain protocol-based therapy and contribute to patient satisfaction.
• Provide verbal or written reports to oncoming care providers.
